Actually, if you really look at Klan history, you’ll notice they’ll take anybody who’s white, whenever they’re desperate enough. Check out how they coopted masonic regalia to pull in that crowd.

You can be a follower of Ayn Rand or a Christian but not both;no one has to paint republicans as racists; they do that job themselves. Feed the animals for example. No, there is nothing more selfish than viewing most people as undeserving moochers who stand in the way of progress. Can you imagine Jesus saying this. The poor will be crushed beneath the heels of the Supermen she envisions. If only her novels were intended to be comic they would be much better; I can’t imagine anyone taking them seriously.

The neocons hear and read only what fits into their world view. Ryan only passed two bills in his 14 years in congress, but suddenly he’s an expert. Anyone who is not a white male and too old to actually fight in the wars the elephants start and don’t pay for, together with a small group of appropriately adoring young empty-headed women, are to be the servants of the wealthy. Everyone else had better know their place and repeat “I hear and obey, master” or be sent to north Dakota in winter without health care or any social safety net.
