“Well, if everybody else had a gun, they could have stopped him.” Funny, how nobody ever seems to have a gun when so many people have guns.

I’m waiting for the incident when three or four others have guns and start shooting at each other in the confusion.

The NRA interpretation of ‘Right to Bear Arms’ keeps people lawful the way Fundamentalists interpretation of ‘Wrath of God’ keeps people honest.

The mass shooters are going to have to use a sign-up sheet to make sure they don’t overlap.

There is an interesting relationship between gun-violence and gun-control laws:.30-some years ago, a person could buy virtually any non-full automatic weapon – incognito, by mail, and for little $$$, as in Saturday night specials . . ..Today, after enacting hundreds of ‘gun-control’ laws, it is impossible to legally buy a gun incognito, require background checks and time delay of up to 15 days between purchase and possession, and guns are very expansive . . . . ..It would follow that consequently there would be less violence involving guns . . . . ..The relationship gets even more interesting in municipalities that have outlawed guns altogether . . . . ..The important thing is that Leftists feel good about themselves – having attempted to improve the society . . . . yet again.

Our government is on a mission to disarm the populace so it can impose martial law. An article by Bob Livingston America’s Newest Vaccination will demonstrate that we are presently being indoctronated. Our present leaders(you know who) want to disolve our rights as well as the Constitution of The United States and once we are disarmed we will no longer be citizens but SUBJECTS! I will forward a copy of the article to anyone who wishes contact me at k92509-54@yahoo.com

The Nazi Revolutionary Army is mainly a bunch of gun nuts who don’t know what they are involved in. I encountered the Dallas leadership back when they were turning the Boy Scouts into the only hate group chartered by Congress. They were openly bragging about how, if the Dallas ghetto erupted as it had elsewhere in the country, the police would cordon off the ghetto, their agents in the police would let them in, and they would door to door killing every black in town. “Best of all, those commies in Washington would pay for the ammunition” referring to the Pentagon’s “American Marksman” program, which gave the NRA the ammo to teach shooting, but was hoarded for their ultimate goal of the violent overthrow of the US government. However, the ghetto didn’t arise, and they managed to overthrow the Constitution by gradual and nonviolent means. However, the capability remains.

In today’s “Brave New World” it is long past due for all American schools, from 1st grade thru 12th grade, to require/make mandatory Weapons Classes that include class room and live, hands-on hunting, survival, self-defense, police and military training…just like Home Economics and Shop classes used to be for girls and boys respectfully…for all students except those with Religious deferments. Then upon completion of these courses, regardless of any other training/education, be allowed to graduate from High School and so be issued a free side arm and riffle with license to protect and feed their family, friends, or anyone else in obvious need.

This Nation could then take back its original heritage, only now with modern weapons and technology, just as it was when the initial Europeans were settling the lands and bringing (European) law and order thru the reduction of savages (today known as Native Americans) dumb animals (essential ecosystem wild life) and habitat (future real estate) that they found here.

This also would and should encourage and promote membership in the NRA and/or State or Federal military organizations; promote and improve the economy through greater weapons production; promote and encourage the fecundity of the American people due to the increased obituary rates; and would thus wholly make America a stronger, freer and wildly better place for all wishing to live the (NRA) American dream.

dycel 5 hours ago has it right.

Every time I hear “if everyone had a gun”, I think back to film of the battle of Hue, with Marines hiding behind a wall, holding their M-16’s over their heads and above the wall, and firing blindly on full automatic. “One round, one kill” isn’t just for “long rifle” folks, it also applies to sidearms or ANY discharge of a weapon in “defense”. It isn’t how many rounds you can fire, but how many hit the target, to effect.

We have too many thinking that Marine tactic is a good idea, including the NRA firing at Congress any time legislation is proposed to regulate their “toys”, or anatomical substitutes, if you prefer.

greyolddave said, “I’m waiting for the incident when three or four others have guns and start shooting at each other in the confusion.”I once thought I was going to be in the middle of a wild-west, er, wild-south shootout in a South African pub. Drunk guy walked in with a gun tucked in his belt behind his back. Several guys at my table got their guns out and across the room a couple more patrons did likewise.Yeah, I felt “safe”. :-|

Btw, gun crime in the UK is still on its downward trend, as is crime overall. Some of the success was better cooperation since 2004 with its National Ballistic Intelligence Service which built up a picture of the crimes a particular gun was involved in (guns are shared in the UK). The Radio 4 programme clip I listened to, although short, was quite interesting. At any rate, these past few weeks there have been calls by gun nuts to show where gun control has made a difference. Well, folks, the UK has made some progress; it’s a combination of tactics, not just gun control, but it plays an important role.(and please don’t bring back articles from the Daily Hate Mail if you’d like to refute these figures)

Yes, one of your “friends” offered it to me as an example some time back. Seems they found 3 (count ’em) examples in over a year of searching. Roughly the same number that weremurdered today in any populous state in our nation.
