Maybe he’s just practicing his high notes…I’ve heard he sings tenor with the D’Owly Carte Company.

    Bubujin…. from yesterday…

Yep, you’re right… just a bit of verbal trickery, silly wordplay..in fact… just like your comment.

I never claimed it (or I! ) was funny…though it’s all in fun.

People seem to like it…so I do it to amuse them…. but… unlike your comment, NOT to put anybody else down.

Actually, it’s a tactical advantage for owls to hoot “Who? Who? Who?” Their prey, scurrying along the ground, pauses to look around to see who IS who. Whereas an owl saying “Me” would warn them that it IS him, and therefore they would duck and cover.

Oh, good, now we’re all friends again! I always enjoy Susan’s puns, and I personally didn’t think bubjin_2 was being offensive or anything, just adding to the punstream. (I think I coined the punstream…….which is just to the left of the jetstream……..) Btw, bubujin_2I love your avatar, since I have a garden gnome in my bedroom, on my dresser. (It was a present from my gf—long story.) It protects all of my shamrocks, one cactus, and a poinsettia left over from last Christmas.

Thank you Bubujin (and Godfrey, too)!

Bubujin, I know you’ve said nice things before, for which I think you, so maybe I was being a bit sensitive, though I’m usually not.

I guess I was just taken aback by two comments in a row (you and Konrad) implying that my puns were stale or unfunny… when I already think of them as more like “homophone exercise” than actual “jokes”.

Sometimes I criticise MYSELF if I can’t think of anything funnier to me than a string of puns! But I think I hold myself to an impossible standard.Anyway, thanks for apologising and I’m sorry if I over-reacted.

And Godfrey… loved the explanation of “whoo” vs. “me.” I think it should be published ….like maybe in Unscientific American?

Meanwhile…. does anybody understand Prrdh’s “he edits Isolated M?”

    That’s gonna bug me!
