So I take it you support the President and the Congressional Democrats’ current push to let the Bush tax cuts partly expire?

Tigger, as usual, is trying to distract from the issue at hand. The comic points clearly to the fact that the Republicans are only about taking care of the rich (who have purchased the party wholesale). Their “plan” is the same failed plan that has put the economy in the profound trouble that it’s in today. It will penalize poor and middle class working families in order to further enrich the already obscenely rich. Tigger wants you to think about something else. Harleyquinn isn’t really bored by the comic. He’s just tired of seeing his masters getting gored over and over again. Both of these republican parasitic toadies should be ignored.

I think most Romney votes are anti-Obama votes. What do people see that Romney would do? What would life under Romney be like? What are his goals? I know our taxes will be higher and we will likely go to war with Iran, and the regulations and will be stripped and the environmental and clean food and drinking water protections will be weakened. The rich will have a lot more money so The Job creators will create more jobs just like they have the last 10-12 years, and we won’t have universal health care.

I know these are considered “good”, but what other good to you expect he will do?What advantages would there be in Romney’s presidency?

For the past 30 yrs, the rich have been given more and more tax breaks. Meanwhile the economy had slid further and further until it was broken completely in 2008. If this ‘job Creators’ stuff was ever true, then you wasted all of our time.

The rich have had all the money for long enough. Time to give it back and help the middle class who need the money and use it to keep the economy healthy,

Wabbit’s right. Romney is just an empty suit with no Obama in it. That’s the best the Republicans can do.

I guess the 32 TRILLION DOLLARS the wealthy have stashed overseas is not enough, eh, Twit? You won’t be happy until you bring back Feudalism.

Tigger also conveniently fails to remember that, when the democrats voted to extend the Bush tax cuts, they only did so because the republicans were prepared to prevent ANY budget measure from passing, thus causing the U.S. to default on its debt for the first time in history.

“They voted to extend the Bush Tax Cuts and Obama was stupid when he failed to Veto this stupid Bill. Ohm there were not enough Votes to Override the Veto.”-Tigger, I agree with you. Extending the tax cuts was stupid on the part of Dems in the Congress and Obama for not lobbying against it and not vetoing it.-If you recall, Republicans were adamant that extending the cuts was the only way to get out of the recession, adamant being a large, large understatement. -And, at that point, Obama still believed he could work with the Republicans, which was even more stupid, allthough, I admit, it was difficult to believe Republicans would damage the economy and the country as part of political strategy.

-Stupid, indeed. Smarter now, I believe, and on the right track of expiration for >250k.-BTW, have there been any job creator sightings, or are they extinct?

Grainbelt: I think you’d agree with me. I have NO PROBLEM with the rich eating TOO. What I have a problem with is THEM eating EVERYONE ELSE’S LUNCH in their process! You also, I guess, have to just love the dittoheads, quoting Rush, constantly, and denying they listen to him. At least some of us did (I finally gave up) listen to him, just to know where this totally weird and wrong, crappolla keeps coming from!! One track (rail) minds do NOT know how to build, or run, a railroad.

‘Wabbit, THERE WILL BE NO OBAMA!!!! everything else is ’gravy".’ -So, you agree with Wabbit that there is NO real reason to vote FOR Romney, only seething hatred of Obama that gives you a reason to vote for Willard.-‘Stop buying into this class warfare crap put out by the dems. Everyone should pay taxes but at the same time, spending should be cut.’-What tax warfare? That rich people, like Willard should pay more than 13.4% on $21 million income (adjusted)?-Is this what you mean by ‘everyone should pay taxes’? Are you including Willard? Think General Electric should pay corporate income tax?

-What spending should be cut?-Care to discuss anything beyond platitudes?

Yea, let’s take all the money from the poor and middleclass and run the country for ONE DAY. Then what? Oops, sorry, they already did that.

The Republicans treat taxes on the rich like the RIAA thought of music downloads on Napster during record sales. “If we’re doing this good even with this little bit of loss, won’t it get better if we eliminate the little bit of losses?”

Nope. Business highs were at their strongest with higher corporate and high end personal income tax rates, as it put a little bit more money into the pockets of the buying classes (bottom 85%, who spend close to 100% of their income), similar to when people could download a song for free and then buy the albums they liked.

You said you already pay tax at the lowest rate. Would that be the 14% or the 13.2 ?

And what everyone forgets is sales tax, payroll tax and another one, I forgot what.So to say that 50% don’t pay any taxes in not correct.

“I know! Let’s give tax cuts to people that don’t pay any taxes at all!!!!!”Better than raising the taxes on the middle class, to pay for tax cuts for the rich.
