Strange, that…..When I was a child in the land of the platypus and kangaroo, we had an electric stove and a wood range. My mother ALWAYS used the wood range. She was never happy unless she was scraping ashes and black leading..Now I come to think of it, I don’t think she was ever happy and probably chose the hard way just to fill her time.
