LPGA wraping up it’s final round today in Roch NY. The proslove coming here everyyear because of the fan support as well as the course.

@ML- Todays sport section today “Trouble in Texas”- With no deal in place for Indy-car to return to Texas Motor Speedway in 2013- after 16 years- because of financial and safety concerns drivers have raised with the 1/1/2 mile high-banked track. gonna be a wait and see, I guess
About 80 here at the lake , and it’s like glass, so nice for a Great Lake, goin’ get the motor on the little boat tomorrowand start crusin’/mabe fishin’ or just sitin’ – enjoyin’ the view. A lot of times I’ll go out about 1/4 mile ,shut it down and read and have a cold one:-)
There is so much smoke in the air this morning that I can hardly see my Catalina Mtns. Effecting my breathing, too.And there are no fires close to Tucson, A lot East of here, though.
The first thing you know ol’ Jed’s a millionaire. The kinfolk said “Jed, move away from there!” Said “Californy is the place you outta be.” So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly….(You know the rest – both beginning and end.)

Good Evening Everyone..I have been on so early the last few days it seems strange to be on this late. :).Well it all seemed to go over my head too! I recognized Lester and Earl and immediately started singing “The Ballad of Jed Clampett” that I totally missed ML’s “the first thing you know”. LOL.Slim: I’m with you. I have never understood why they always climb the mountain. There is nothing up there but wildlife, always go downhill and always know the direction you are heading. It’s a whole lot better than being lost!!.My Nomad days were limited to what I could afford, I was always to practical. In those days I had a job where if I did not show up they came looking for me (soldier, US Army), I had a car because Arizona (my first duty station) was a big place to travel with a lot of dry between towns. My father drilled into me that as a girl on her own I should always have money for a ride, a room, and a couple of meals. These rules kept me out of some pretty serious situations and sometimes it was as much fun to get out of troublesome situations as it was to get into them! Life is an adventure and I tried to live it! And had some fun times!.Hope the the air clears up. My husband is borderline asthmatic and had a lot of problems when they burn leaves in the fall. I can only imagine what all that smokey air does to people with breathing problems.

Oh, speaking of *david*’s song……..we watched the Indy Car race from Texas last night. What a finish!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had that “breathing problem” again………the ending was so exciting that I kept forgetting to breathe!!!!!! :))))
