Our gas price is among the lowest in the States. I’m well aware that Canada’s prices are pumped up by excessive Federal & Provincial taxes and I hate to even think of European prices. No wonder so many Europeans ride bicycles.

$2.52 in 2014 dollars. Gas rose to $2.01 in the spring of 2004, and a pervasive sense of impending doom settled upon the land.

It could have been worse; the next smaller car would have been a Smart car which uses high octane for their high mileage.

I just paid $2.53 a gallon, ONLY because I used my grocery points. Right now it’s 3.33 a gallon, one block away it’s 3.43. Go figure!

Since I don’t drive the price of gas doesn’t bother me. However, I just had the batteries replaced in my scooter for $600. They last about two years.

We are around $3.20 a gallon. I hope the price holds till tomorrow when I fill up.
