Vultures play a vital role in an ecosystem. Romney is more of a vampire capitalist: an unnatural creature feeding off the living to sustain an artificial existence. And no, not sparkly.

There is NOTHING WRONG with being a true capitalist. “Investment frauds” that RAID the “capital” from companies, and then close down those companies, walking away with all the resources as “profit” for your raiders, is NOT CAPITALISM!

Okay, maybe Jessie James, John Dillinger, and Saddam Hussein called it “capitalism”, but well, others, don’t.

Boy, am I getting tired of this myth. There’s a big difference between enriching oneself (AKA “getting yours,” “looking out for #1”) and enriching a whole company, or increasing potential for the multitude. Romney has #1 down cold, right down to paying off Congress to change tax laws so he can justify a lower tax for his his non-risk-taking stripping of companies as if it is legitimately a capital gains — which it isn’t.

Obama has never been against capitalism — in fact, capitalists have done much better under his policies than under Bush’s. What he’s quite correctly pointing out is that it is not the job of the president to fire people to make the country run more profitably for those at the top. It’s the job of the president to ALSO take care of the people who were fired, something Romney does not seem interested in doing. Oh, except to take their pension plans as they go out the door and distribute them to the owners.

Now if we could only rid the US of Corporate Socialism everything would be fine.

    Contrary to what you believe…

If I don’t recall doing something that happened 35 years ago, I probably did not do it.

This is in contrast to what my wife of 33 years believes. She tells me things I DIDN’T DO and I do believe that did not happen! Well at least to the best of my recollection.
