This really is my favorite stretch of comics in Peanuts history. This is the one volume I bought so far of the collected Peanuts. Thank goodness my library carries them all! I live in St Paul, so of course it does! :)
There are two single-volume collections of Peanuts strips I’d recommend: Peanuts Treasury (1968) and Peanuts Classics (1970). The latter printed the Sunday strips in color, otherwise, it’s all b&w. I think there’s some overlapping of story arcs, although Peanuts Treasury has earlier stuff (1959-67) than Peanuts Classics (1963-70).
Check out eBay if you’re interested in either. Some prices are a little up there, but I just found one “Buy It Now” listing that offers both of these hardbacks for $8.50 plus $3.95 s/h…that’s a price I’d jump on if I didn’t already have them.

I love this particular sequence a lot, especially Lucy in the previous strip… “What in the world kind of a stupid fight is this??” It just strikes me funny every time I see it. :o)
