For a change, I actually agree with Tiffany.

Imagiine my relief that it’s Saturday, and we won’t be exploring the “clean enough to eat off of” factor this week.

Some girls like men who will protect them from scary hobos. Some girls like guys who will protect them from icky toilet seats.

Crystal has always thought Knute was “what you see is what you get”. Total goof off, too laid back. The fact that he has this weird quirk intrigues her. It really doesn’t matter that it is being a clean freak. Just that it goes a little deeper than goof off laid back Knute.

This ending totally shocked me. It seems like we’ve missed a whole strip of when she walks out of there.

YES! I like this couple. Yah sure it makes about as much sense as Toni and Brad but for some reason I empathize with Knute for I am geeky in my own kind of way. Though I didn’t get the girl. Maybe she could do something with Knutes hair though. LOL

It has been a good week. Got to see most of my favorite characters, including Puddles & Luann last Sunday. Clean drawing, clean story line, clean toilets…..what more could I want?

Here’s one Old Guy key to a long and successful marriage: one of the couple needs to be okay with doing things that the other one can’t handle due to being scary/icky/etc. And it doesn’t need to be the same person in each case. (Listen and learn, young’uns!)

Man. I even like clean toilets.

And they say “Chivalry is Dead” Pshaw! Keep her guessing, but don’t offend. Different strokes for different folks on DIFFERENT days. And Knute SURE has different strokes :-)

Knute has a good heart, is a good friend and that he is also a little bit…“weird” but still a happy go lucky guy, makes him an interesting character.

Crystal and Knute have always been a mystery. There is some matching weirdness in those two. Opposites may attract but it’s those shared qualities that keep you together.

On one occasion I had to use the Ladies’ because the Gents’ was being repaired. Do any of you other guys know that they have a couch in there?

Knute is weird, but he might also be the guy that changes the diapers, takes out the garbage, and fixes the toilet.

I hope so; I have really grown to love this comic the last few years. In the early morning hours, I read Luann last, because it is the best. I’m sure people are getting tired of me running down “Zits,” but I read that one first, because it makes everything else seem so much better. I also am a big fan of “Arlo & Janis,” “Crankshaft,” and “Get Fuzzy.” “One Big Happy” and “Heart Of The City” are usually good for a laugh.

Maybe Crystal will be the first one to get pregnant – who woulda thought….

I’ve not heard of the two you mention, but I’ll give them a look! Again, I just read “Zits” and “Stone Soup” in order to get a groan rather than a laugh.

As unconventional as Crystal and Knute are, they both have more socially redeeming qualities in their little fingers than Tiffany does in her whole pampered body. She could learn a lot from these two…
