REX MORGAN: That cookie tin could hold more chocolate chip cookies. I gave up baking cookies because they always got stuck to tin; I know it’s a matter of applying the right amount of oil to the surface, but the formula just doesn;t wirk with me. If you think I’m avoiding the plot it’s not my fault – the story just isn’t moving fast enough – too much discussion and no action.
@TEH: I couldn’t find you in Facebook to friend you. I’m not so adept at navigating Facebook, but when I typed in “Teh” all I got were people named Tehilah.
Apartment 3-G – Yawn.Crankshaft – Was this a hole-in-one or a very good fairway shot?Judge Parker – Lookada muscles on dat broad!Mark Trail – Why would Jeff assume they’re cops? Can’t he tell the difference between a bird gun and a SWAT rig?Mary Worth – Arye’s right. Mary should be careful about divulging information behind someone’s back.Phantom –It looks like Tiger One has never heard of the Ghost Who Walks!Rex Morgan – And I again agree with Arye. The plot is moving too slow. Not near as bad as Apartment 3G, or (goodness!) Alley Oop, but still …
I am enjoying the art work and the ACTION in the current Phantom, Judge Parker & Mark Trail strips. I agree with Arye and david that Rex Morgan has s..l..o..w..e..d down and that 3-G needs to pick up the pace. As to Mary Worth, I don’t think Mary was acting as a professional, so Nola would have not had an expectation of privacy…and in difficult situations it helps to talk things over with a trusted confident. Apparently the Miami Herald print newspaper is omitting one panel of Doonnesbury strip either today or tomorrow – but they’re off the hook as to censorship as they are referring readers to Gocomics.com to read the complete strip. :-)
Mark Trail – the robbers ditched the getaway car after the bank heist but they are armed.Annie on GoComics – Annie strips from archives can be included in the daily email. A new story begins this week. Doonnesbury – my newspaper is omitting some strips this week and is referring readers to find them on the paper’s website@Arye – I’ll look at facebook tonight. I don’t use it much either but I’ll find out where the friend requests are
Foxtrot – The translator should have gone with A.M. Apparently that’s universal since it’s from Latin, a dead language (doesn’t change).Judge Parker – I’m surprised she is giving up so easily. And the police are going to be surprised at what’s happened while they were waiting in the car.Mary Worth – I see both sides (comments above).
