I’m always amazed at how nasty people can be online. There are a lot of angry, hateful people out there. Very sad.

‘John don’t you know women are like feces? the older they get the easier they are to pick up!!!’

Guess it takes one to know one.

With a friend like John, who needs an enemy?

At the same time, it’s important to have a sense of humor. But it is all subjective anyway.

What irritates me about TL’s comment is not only that it is sad and disgusting, but he all but challenges women to “flag him off” and treats that as a joke. Well, I did flag him, and I don’t care if he thinks he’s funny. With comments like that Liam should kick him off the site.

For me, I am a bit confused about the comic in some ways… the fellows are having a beer together, which typically seems to be an after work pursuit. Yet, John is eating a sandwich which would be atypical at the end of the day (before going home to eat dinner). It could potentially be the two of the eating lunch together, but while the “3-martini lunch” was and tradition and is still perhaps so in the business world… I tend to recall that even 25 years ago, visiting a dentist with “beery breath” would NOT have inspired confidence. So, I think even in respect to the original publication date, it is unlikely that John is drinking a beer at lunch. So….. that is my confusion.

Men are like a pack of wolves-getting together to talk down on women. What does Connie see in this turkey?

However, women do tend to be less picky as they age. When I was in HS, I got 6 turn-downs for even a date for the prom. However, after 3 years in Army (Draft out of way) and a full time job – and women that had missed out of the first round (ie, dumped by boyfriends they had expected proposals from) – my "Black-book was bulging!

And the reason you would say this is??? If you weren’t such a jerk, you wouldn’t have to be out there trying to pick up women. You would already have someone and wouldn’t need to look further.

Ted will never be, as Brad Paisley wrote, “The Dad He Didn’t Have to Be”. It would be nice if the story could guide Connie into finding someone she would like her children as well as her. This guy hasn’t matured yet.C
