Dottie: Why do you always take his side? I'll tel lyou what he did-he...he...uh...he... oh, just forget it. Dog Gone Funny: Murfresboro, TN. Karin and Gus Dupuis had Madie, a mostly German shepherd. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't get a pill down her. So they mixed it in her dog food thinking they would fool her! She took it out of her bowl, carried it to the garbage pail and dropped it in!

Regarding the Dog Gone Funny story – we had a dog who passed away the week before Christmas of 2011 and for her last 11 months she was on heart meds. She had to take two doses of six different pills every day which we ground up and put inside about a tablespoon of cat food on top of her food. She gobbled it down every single day! RIP Maggie 2002-2011.

I never scold my dogs no matter what they do. I got out of the habit because when my grandmother was alive, she would always get on to me for scolding them. She would say,“don’t scold them,they love you!” So I stopped. I have now the spoilest dogs in the world!

At least she’s smart enough to tell Marm to “LIE” down!!People who tell a dog to “LAY” get me! He’s a DOG not a CHICKEN!!!
