May be that’s why I’m still single. I have no idea what Snoggy Woggy Whips are. But I just noticed I’m not the only one who dosen’t get it.

Hobbes’ expressions are priceless. How BW managed to convey all those subtle shades of superiority, condescension and smugness with just a few lines of ink I can’t even begin to comprehend.

Snoggy woggy whips is incomprehensible- but maybe a good name for licorice; snoogy woogy wips sounds to me like a pet name. Smarmy but cute if you like girls and can put up with them. I had a favorite at 7- a “summer” love, so to speak, and best friend that I really looked forward to seeing every year, and between sessions of “war” with the other boys in the neighborhood over the next few years, often played “house” with Earleen. Much to my later regret, we never got around to playing “Doctor”. She moved one winter, and I still miss her mow and then.
