comfort food has nothing to do with bodily comforts

Comfort food in restuarants needs to come with doggie bags for 2nds at home.

German comfort food: Chicken and dumplings, strudel, kuchen. Norwegian comfort food: Lefse, and for the really hard-core, ludefisk. Also pickled herrings.

If you are southern, there’s no other kind. Plus, you get grease as one of the food groups. Ahh….
