The Uber-Right now has a virtual strangelhold on the Republican Party…and for the Tea-Party Republicans, the ONLY thing that counts is adherence to their radical-right ideology. Once you pass that Litmus Test, no more vetting is required. And THAT’S why the R’s have the field they have
“Newt Gingrich is the intellectual of the Republican field the way Moe was the intellectual of the Stooges.” — The Borowitz Report, December 3http://www.borowitzreport.com/
In early 2010, President Obama went to a house Republican retreat in Baltimore. He debated them for 90 or so minutes, taking them to task for misstatements and defending his policies from thier attacks. This was televised, and considered quite a smack-down for the Republicans (so much that Fox News stopped broadcasting before the debate was over). Mr. Obama didn’t use teleprompters in said debate, yet still had a stellar performance. It doesn’t matter how much Obama uses a teleprompter, or any other speech maker for that fact. These are just tools to make a speech go smoothly. When the Republicans nominate thier candidate, he will get the chance to debate our current president. I’m certain Mr. Obama will do as he has in the past: Perform well in a political debate. Whether that earns him another term or not is yet to be seen.
Really? What have you actually SEEN that makes you so certain of that claim? Show me some specific comparisons between Obama and Reagan. I don’t care if you INVENTED the teleprompter, you’ve offered nothing here to back up your claim but, ’because I said so."
And no, a small group of extreme right-wingers who THINK they represent the American mainstream have had enough of seeing a Democrat—ANY Democrat—in THEIR White House

Reagan also used a teleprompter, harley.
Elections aren’t won on debates alone.
Newt was STILL run out of the House in disgrace, slapped with a huge fine.
And all the hissy-fits in the world won’t change any of that

Good to see you’re finally backing off of Herman Cain and endorsing yet ANOTHER front runner who’s supposed to beat Obama.

Well you have to remember who his opponents are; Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, RIck Santorum, and up until just a short while ago. Herman Cain.
Compared to that group, Newt IS a smart person

If he won, what’s the worst that could happen? it couldn’t get any worse than it is today.

I would love to see YOU try to answer a question without trying to change the subject, LOL!
