We know they had jobs because they didn’t sleep in the park for 3 months. Pretty simple really…

I remember seeing photos and documentation where quite a few “TEA party” rallies had guns very much in evidence. The few police in evidence didn’t take a chance on “collateral damage” under those circumstances. Logistically, there IS a “problem” with the “occupy” long term occupancies, instead of short term demonstrations of only a few hours at most. Frankly, perhaps NOT the most “well thought out scenarios” in all cases, but that Constitutional right to bring grievances, doesn’t establish a “time line”. It doesn’t “sit well” to make a mess, but the OWS folks around the country DO seem to be working on that problem.

OUR real problem is will this committee “occupy” the realm of some common sense, look at the real logistics, and make sound recommendations, or just look for simplistic answers or the quick fix, while avoiding the real “pile” in the room, necessary tax increases that MUST OCCUR to balance any ledger?

They didn’t need to be in force because the Tea Party demonstrations didn’t require it. How can you not see that?

So wait, let me get this straight. Trout claims that the crowds throing, rock, bottles and firebombs are ot indicative of the OWS movement…

But, a couple guys at a Tea Party rally with handguns ARE indicative of the Tea Party movement?..

So then you are for a fair or flat tax which would immediately solve this problem?

“you are for a fair or flat tax” …NO!!…That is a last resort as an end-run around Lobbyists with lots of ‘fairness’ problems of its own. Start by Cut-In-Half All Tax Breaks: Caps, Foreign Income, Interest, Dividends, Capital Gains, Municipal Bond Income; Exclusions, Itemized Deductions, etc. This Must be Coupled to a Balanced Budget Amendment.

Jack keep it up. They attack for nothing more than a statement. You made them look at themselves in ways they don’t like. Truth is anybody making more than $36000 a year is in the top 1% of the world and the left wants more for me me me. It is sad.
