To be fair about the “pizza is a vegetable” issue, actually 1/8th cup of tomato paste is supposed to have as much nutrition as a full cup of other vegetables. So if the pizza has enough tomato paste to compare to whatever quantity of other vegetables is a serving, then it is equivalent to a vegetable.Still sounds a little crazy when I read it back.

Botanically, it’s a fruit; commercially, it’s a vegetable. Doesn’t that tell you a lot about modern priorities?
