Calvin might get a sock IN the nose instead of on it.

Puuh, stinky socks!

I always loose one sock from my pairs and I have very many single socks and don’t know what to do with the single socks!

Only Calvin would find humor in socks…lol

You could have left him one pair, Calvin.

Maybe mom needs to use it….or maybe he takes it to the park & ride.

@LX013: All my socks are the same color; that way I don’t have to worry about matching pairs.

We would just wad them up, pretend they were grenades, and throw them at each other.

What? He doesn’t have another pair of socks?

Calvin’s carrying 2 arms-full of socks; compare to the dresser drawer.

In our family, it wasn’t socks, but spoons!

My sister specialized in one teaspoon on her nose, and one on each of her eyes.

In the 70s, socks for the kids always came in packs of maybe 3 or 4 pair – each pair had a different trio of color bands thus if one got lost – no pairing. I solve this today by when buying socks buy two or three identical packs, thus if one gets lost the other is still usable. (Kids finally got to not worrying if socks had same color bands!)
