I just moved 35 miles and am wondering if the Rethuglicons are going to deny me the right to vote.Spent a half day just changing my address on my drivers license.
I know that democrats are unfamiliar with principles, and sticking by those principles, but we’re all hoping that the past 2 years have been a lesson. Maybe someday they’ll even grow a spine…
At least the Republicans have some power to negotiate now, before they were locked out of all talks by the dems.
What on earth are you talking about? The Republicans have been invited repeatedly to the White House for meetings to discuss policy. In the House they control the chamber, and in the Senate, they’ve been allowed to offer amendments, some of which have been adopted.
Those invitations to the WH to discuss policy were a farce. All they ever heard from Obama was "here is what I want, and you are unAmerican if you don’t like it. That’s still what happens, but now the Republicans can say “Not so fast”.
Evidence?!! Grover and Rush say it, so it must be true. That is evidence enough for h.d. and s . (howgozit must be sick today or has an appointment with his shrink.)
Do you want us to consider you a racist? Why else would you give Obama’s voice a faux black accent when the man doesn’t speak like that? You know full well how you’d react if someone here who you considered liberal imposed a stereotypical hick accent on what you say. We’ve already seen how you take umbrage when you don’t like what is said about you.
“Al Franken, a Democrat was declared winner of The Minnesota Senate Race on November 2, 2010.”
Get your dates right. Franken was elected in 2008. Know what happened after that? His REPUGNANT opponent, Norm Coleman, challenged and sued Fraken so he would not be able to get his seat. He finally won after 238 days of litigation. (June 30, 2009). He was seated July 7, 2009. During that time Ted Kennedy was hospitalized and didn’t cast a single vote. In August he croaked.
So in reality the Democrats NEVER had a super majority. Thus a myth has been busted,
I suspect the Dunning-Kruger effect that you mentioned just a few days ago is also in play. And I agree that it is sad, particularly because scientific knowledge has the property of being independently verifiable by experiment. I’m pretty convinced that a lot of the troll posters here are so poorly educated and unaware of the gaps in their understanding that they don’t really understand a lot of what we try to explain.
If some of them are paid, it doesn’t seem like money well spent. They won’t convince folks that know enough to see through their lazy arguments. At best, I suppose they serve to reinforce the false arguments for others that have already accepted them.It must also be pretty emotionally taxing to get up every day knowing that your job will expose you as a know-nothing. I know they have anonymity, but they still have to look at themselves in the mirror each day and live with the fact they are agents of deception.

That is not an answer of any form to my question. I’ll let others come to their own conclusions about what your response says about your character.

I just love the way Teapublicans want “government” off their backs, and want a dictatorship to “bring it on”!
