“Well of course. The liberals and Democrats consider it indecent if a company or business shows a profit.”No we find it indecent for Congress to give tax breaks and subsidies (AKA corporate welfare) highly profitable companies that export American jobs overseas. Especially when said Congress bemoans a bloated budget and decides to cut welfare for the citizens who actually need it.
Okay, billions in untaxed profits for the wealthy corporations and CEOs and “Investors”, while police, fire, and “public sector” folks are taking the “heat”, and Benson STILL can’t recognize WHO is the fox in the henhouse???? Benson has the vision of a blind mole, and keeps digging deeper, feeding on bad worms.
“s”, Maybe you should try working for a living. You’d find that unions are supported by members, not the government. They are also the only thing that keeps employees from becoming wards of the “company store”.
You are right Eryx and the working middle class has been shrinking for the last 30 years. Their wages have grown only 0% to 1/2% in the last ten years while upper management salaries have grown in multiples.
Funny, then why do most unions insist (to the point of court orders0 on having closed shops? If the union was so useful, why do they need to force people to join?
The point of this cartoon is that the public sector (government) feeds off the fruits of the private sector (business). How did that meaning slip past anyone? It is also 100% true, no matter which side of the aisle you vote for. We would do well to remember it.
