Corporations and unions are now people. Most people don’t help much.

Corporations have rights derived from the individual rights of the people comprising them, as do fraternal organizations, book clubs, condominium associations, political parties, labor unions, and so forth.

Leftists would be obliged to agree with this logic if logic was ever anything they cared about. Or if they ever cared about individual rights.

And later I realized another reason the Leftists are so unhappy with the idea that corporations have rights: As long as they can pretend otherwise, they can continue to regulate, restrict, and rule over corporations at an ever-increasing rate while hiding from the public the fact that this violates everyone’s rights.
