Considering the type of peppers they likely have in that house, I wouldn’t take a very big bite!!! (In fact, I wouldn’t take a bite at all, or even touch it…)

Yes, they often do. Peppermint oil is great for headaches, and if it’s a result of sinus pressure the pepper will do miracles.
