From Wasilla’s wastes a turkey came,And her neck to reality’s axe uncurled. She spoke but wouldn’t take the blameFor the gaffe heard ’round the world.

the republican field is weak. google santorum and wonder why he wants to run. she hates romney so much that she drove through red lights, stop signs, and a tornado warning zone in her greyhound bus to get to new hampshire to upstage him.

The sad fact is that the historical knowledge of most Americans is on a par with Palin’s. Ask everyone you know what the significance was of yesterday’s date, June 6. The date, which was a seminal event in world history, seems to have been unremarked in the general American consciousness.

Except for all of the cable re-run shows about D-day.You’re right. The 67th anniversary is huge. We should have had a national holiday!I apologize for the snark. D-Day is observed, somewhat, as Memorial Day. Should the American education system do a better job on teaching the significance of the day? Absolutely. I am in awe of the events of that day; I wish more people were. I don’t think we’re going to hell in a handbasket because the anniversary is no longer celebrated.

Next she’ll say the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor and started WWII.And she wants to cut education funding..My uncle stormed Utah beach and was wounded, sent back to England for re-hab and was back in action for the Battle of the Bulge with George Patton’s 3rd Army where he was wounded a second time..Rest in peace Uncle Tony and thank you.

It was late on night in the town of Boston, Mass,Our forefathers were of sleep of course,When out of the street came a sound that broke the glass,A breathless horseman on a breathless horseOur forefathers call out “Who goes here”The horseman answered “Paul Revere”So our forefathers jumped out of bed,They ran to the window and sid,Go to sleep, go to sleep Paul RevereDon’t you make all your noice around hereHow can we sleepwhen from out of the street,Comes the clomping and the stompingOf your horses big feet.Go away or we’ll call the policeAnd report you’re disturbing the peaceYou’re drunk and disorderly, feeling your oats,Tell those men behind you to lose those silly red coats

Last night Jay Leno said that, when Palin was in school, “D-Day” to her meant report card day.

I wonder if she can spell “potato”…
