We all know the temp in D.C. doesn’t represent the global average temp. This next summer should prove interesting (globally)…….however, it will take several more years of average temp recording to discuss in the local tavern before reaching a conclusion.

How come Fox News isn’t reporting that Winter Olympic events are being postponed because of unseasonably warm weather?

it IS that Star that causes the climate on our planet, - duh. both “sides” seem to forget this basic fact, the SUN is the main factor. It seems to be changing, as it has NOT done in the past,(normal 11 year cycles of storms) even NASA notes this. The amount and the force of the photons are increasing, and decreasing at new rates, never registered before.

scott thinks that cartoonists make money! Ha! Talk about slush for brains! By the way, folks, climate scientists are hardly the idiots some of you seem to think they are. “Why look! We forgot the sun!” Yeah, duh. Climate change is largely about how much of the sun’s heat gets trapped.

Tigger, I couldn’t help but notice you forgot to mention that events are being postponed in the Winter Olympics because of unseasonably warm temperatures.

Why did you decide not to mention that, Tigger?

Is it for the same reason that you can’t spell basic words like “deep” and “trouble”?

Or did you just decide to hope we didn’t know about it, since it doesn’t fit your pro-polllution agenda?

I know that most conservatives are conservative because they can’t handle complex thought, but is it really all that hard to understand that warmer ocean surface temperatures means more evaporation, which means higher atmospheric moisture content, which means, despite overall warmer temperatures, more precipitation? And they do realize that snow is precipitation, right? Or are they all really that stupid? (Don’t answer that question.)

Speaking just for myself, I think the strongest evidence for global warming is that the Republicans are devoting so much effort to deny it’s occurring.

Or instead you could educate yourself as to why some areas are colder, yet at the same time events in the winter olympics have been postponed because of unseasonably high temps…something the pro-pollution people never seem to mention.
