    Poor Scott!!

You seem so bitter and mean-spirited. Does your day get any better after this exercise in name-calling every morning??

Keep working on reading Philippians 4:4-9 very loudly. It WILL change your attitude.

If it’s taking down the healthy, harley, that does kind of make it ultimately more deadly – at least more people are susceptible! But I agree completely that the thing to do is stay cool and stay clean. Our office has gone Purell-crazy…wish I had shares in J&J…

Hey, Harley: How about using the correct word which is flu? With an e at the end making it flue, it sounds something like a chimney. Would be nice if you learned to use a dictionary.

Um … if it’s taking down the healthy, are they really healthy? :-)

I do agree that it’s better to just do what is normally recommended.

What really gets me is that both lipstick and vaccines are manufactured, BY PRIVATE CORPORATIONS!! Now it’s all government (read Obama’s) fault that we’re behind on delivering!

The “government”, a long time ago, asked for an increase in flue vaccine production, standard, and H1N1, but stated people shouldn’t panic. Now people are panicking, and of course it’s all “government’s fault”.

I also note that those at lower risk are rushing to the clinics demanding “their” vaccine- sad little pachyderms.

Last week we buried a12 year girl who died from this flu. A few days before a 9 year old child in the next town died. Our children’s hospital is full. We closed one of our schools because half the school was sick. It seems to affect middle school children ( 7 TO 15 YEAR OLD) the most. I don’t know who’s to blame. I just know somebody somewhere dropped the game ball, and our children are dieing because of it.

Up here we had a movie called “silence, on vaccine” possibly connected to a cult-like movement called Biologie Totale believing that all diseases (ALL, including cancer and aids) have their causes in the brain and that usual treatments are not only not necessary, but amplify the disease and are pure inventions of Big Pharma. Now, you have legions of conspiracy theorists (those who believe that everyone except themselves is part of a global conspiracy) who capitalize on healthy children’s parent’s fears and on sick children’s parent’s anger and pain to get some attention.

Since 9/11, conspiracy theories are all the rage. Sure, there are greedy people out there, there is a Big Pharma lobby but any made up affirmation isn’t true just because most people don’t believe it or just because it is featured in a cool, entertaining documentary à la Michael Moore.

Sure, there were some crocked elements surrounding 9/11 and you shouldn’t believe anything you hear but this time, it’s an epîdemic that can be avoided.

Sure, many diseases we’re vaccinating kids for aren’t endemic anymore, but why? They haven’t magically vanished! Unless…some evil big pharma company made it vanish to make us believe their vaccine works. They got the world under such a tight grip that they can control everything…but cannot keep a lousy movie from being made.

    Sheesh!
