See, I told you they were overpaid. Let ‘em run to China or India. Or, B-r-r-r-a-z-e-e-e-l-l!

^Yes, let them go and ruin THOSE economies.

And nomad, let’s hope voters are smarter than to vote for someone who has run a business into the ground.

    Good morning cdward,

One would hope so, but alas no, the voters are not smart enough to connect those dots.

A prime example is W & Crew. W personally ran three oil companies into the ground in Texas before being elected Governor of Texas, and then POTUS.

Of course the first term as POTUS was just an appointment made by some of his daddies closest friends, but he was put into the White House. As you already know, given the ability to ruin the economy, take home huge profits, shift wealth to the top 2%, make war (not one but two wars) and create enemies all over the world.

And, I’m hopeful these bad execs will quit making way for better and more talented staff to rise in their organizations.

Too bad some of the bad execs are on the boards of various companies that keep making bad hiring decisions.

Puppy tried to imitate: Or, B-r-r-r-a-z-e-e-e-l-l!

I suggest ”B-r-r-r-a-a-z-e-e-w-e”. Listen carefully to their accent.

As usual, scott is wrong in that Wall Street typically supports Republicans by choice; Democrats only when in power. Even a causal read of the Wall Street Journal will make that clear, let alone past patterns of funding. Most fund both parties when issues are in doubt. I like this cartoon, though. And I can name a few names of other CEOs who have done more than their fair share of ruination - How about Nardelli, who nearly destroyed Home Depot and went on to wreck Chrysler? Pretty impressive for an ex-GE guy.

Motive, WSJ-THAT Communist rag? All them lefties just flood the Journal with their anti-American ideas! Oh, wait…

Yeah, I like the toon also. As to them running for Congress, they’d never be willing to accept the pay cut. After all, even the President only has a salary of $400,000 per year, chicken feed on Wall Street.

When I started my Web site in 2002, one of the first pieces I wrote, “A Bargain At Twice the Price,” was about how I would be happy to bankrupt a major corporation for a fraction of what its CEO or other senior managers were charging. The examples may have changed, but the basic concept is still sound. I wonder why no company has taken me up on the offer…
