Don’t want taxes, don’t want economic crises, don’t want a depression … hmmm somebody figgure out how this’s gonna’ happen?

Simple - the Republican method. Do what you want, tell people it’s working, blame any problems on the liberals.

stealth, oh, no, the Republicans have a solution for everything – the deficit, the Iraq war, cancer, acne: Tax Cuts (for the rich)!

If you asked a Republican how to fix a flat tire, they would tell you that the rich need another tax cut. It’s the same wrong answer no matter what the question is.

Funny idea: Cut the military budget. (9/11 clearly proved that it doesn’t help on defence)

911 had nothing to do with the military budget- it was about Bush’s refusal to acknowledge the warnings that were there. But at least he kept us safe afterwards! Oh, according to him….

Obama does plan to reduce the military budget. Eisenhower was _so_ right…

motivemagus, I think Bush’s way of reducing the military budget was banning the sales of PLAYBOY in every P/X and B/X!

Dale, motive, won’t say much in the way of trying to justify military expenditures. Think this over though, the troops on the ground don’t see a hell’ve lot of those expenditures, wonder just where this money does go?

HUMPHRIES, one of the biggest voices against Bush are the vets who served in Iraq! They KNOW first hand how they were treated with crappy equipment, rotting food, etc. The only “plus” there was the excellent medical treatment… which vanished when they returned to the USA!
