Saucy was terrified of thunderstorms, but only as she got older. I found some drops at the pet store that helped a lot. They are made by Homeopet and used the TFLN (thunder, fireworks and loud noises) type. I would give her a few drops mixed in water or juice if storms were predicted and she wouldn’t pace. If I gave them to her during a storm, in about 10-15 min she would lie down and go back to sleep. Otherwise, she would pace the floor and whine the whole time.
