Yeah, but when it shows up, it does it in 3 foot increments (or it did when I was living in New Hampshire).

no snow in Maine yet? we got some in the Sierra Nevadas here in California last night.

Used to do that to my son when he failed to say “thank you”. We would say “you’re welcome” first which then made him react with “thank you”.

JanCinVV I remember the same exchange when I was a kid…although there were a number of times as the kid in that exchange, I thought for what? You didn’t do anything for me to be thankful for!

I told that to a homeless guy. He thanked me for the free advice then asked me for a free cheeseburger.

I told him not to be so darned attached to his hunger pangs.

He told me not to be so darned attached to my opinions.

I told him if wishes were horses beggars would ride.

He told me if wishes were cheeseburgers he wouldn’t have to keep buggin people like me.

I wished him a nice day, told him to chew on that, and left.

He yelled after me that he would, but that it tasted a little thin in the calorie department.

I guess beggars can be choosers. Obviously not a buddhist like us.

Once again, Wiley’s insights have produced a laugh out loud moment. From Danae’s point of view, this makes perfect sense, and it makes me laugh. Thanks, Wiley, for another great chuckle!

A year ago today, we got six inches of snow here in SW Michigan…….bring it on!

We just got started picking corn, so the snow can stay away for at least a month.

No snow here yet in S. E. Michigan but a frosty morning greeted my commute.

Danae has to be in control even when being grateful.
