Welcome back Earl. Can anyone tell me if the character on Mother Goose today is from the comic strip “ZITS” or some other strip?

Yep, that’s Jeremy from “Zits”. And they’re in Jeremy’s bedroom, thus the “landfill” remark, because it’s a running joke that it doesn’t smell too sweet in there, what with teen boy shoes and laundry and who-knows-what under the bed.

Personally, I have a love/hate relationship with ambivalence.

If you took the word ambivalence, had it printed backwards, made into a decal and placed across the top of your windshield, someone who saw it in their rear view mirror might interpret it as ambulance and pull over. It would embarrassing to admit you pulled over for an ambivalence.
