Like it was yestahday... sigh... those wah hahd and bittah yeahs that seemed to go on fahevah... then suddenly, it ended in 2004 when the Red Sox won the Wahld Series!! Danae: Um... I meant the other Great Depression. Eddie: You mean the Cubs? Who cares about those losahs?

marguretem, Thanks for your display of roots this morning. Myself, growing up back there in the 50’s, even with the Braves going so strongly, could not accept the fact the Cubs never got to the World Series, with such greats as Ernie Banks

The B on a red Red Sox cap is blue, but the sentiment expressed in panel 3 is so true. The Red Sox Nation waited a long time for that.
