    AMEN!!

Maybe these little guys are from the same planet Obama is from. I mean why else would they or anyone else want him?

I wonder if Obama’s mass hypnosis tactics will work as well on their alien brains as it has on American brains.

Wow, I don’t know if this is a prayer meeting or a KKK rally!

I see it as one of the booger and snot people wanting to lobby with the president, against the use of decongestants. Has anyone else seen that commercial, where Mr. and Mrs. Booger move in with all the kids only to be kicked out by a decongestant.

I think it’s more to do with the home mortgage debacle.

    Anthony 2816,

If you truly believe that the Bush adminstration is the most disastrous in our country’s history then either you are too young to remember the Clinton’s, you were asleep during the Clinton’s, or you are a victim or the liberal brainwashing this country has been experiencing for years.

I am not a Bush fan or supporter by any stretch of the imagination but he is getting blamed for a whole lot of things that were/are not his fault. I am not saying he is the best administration either, he made his share of mistakes.

Further, I am from the Chicago area, not the cesspool itself but close. I can tell you that from experience, Obama is not going to be a good or positive thing for this country. I have been subject to his ideas for years and I can tell you in no uncertain terms that left unrestrained, he could bring the downfall of this great country.

Trust me when I tell you that he used some kind of hypnosis or mind control to win, because anyone who took an honest look at his record and policies would see that he is and always has been clearly against the principles this country was founded upon.

Change the direction of the conversation on Non Sequitur.

    Take two!!

    Action!!!

So, no one’s going to bite at the booger and snot people.

Okay, try this one: What you’ve got in today’s illustration is an upside down, cosmic diaphragm, filled with alien seamen. The aliens think that Hillary Clinton or Sarah Palin have won the election. They’re just trying to score.

The man at the bottom of the seamen ramp is in a bad marriage, his wife is a way staying at her mother’s and will be back next week.

When the aliens return he is going to tell them forget Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. Take my wife instead, take my wife, please take my wife. No, really, you can keep her.

    Q. audience applause and laughter.

Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you.

I love the “Obama must have hypnotized everyone!” people. They can’t believe that there are a great many (dare I say a “majority”) people out there that like Obama because he’s an adult? That the majority believe that Obama can help put us on the road to healing the nation both domestically and abroad?

Nah, it can’t be that they love America so much that they hate to see it sullied by a childish bully. It must be hypnosis.

I’m going to be laughing all weekend at that one. :-)

While I get (and agree) with the gag, Wiley makes another point (whether deliberately or not) I recently saw raised which is that the period of time between the election and inauguration is too long. Both because it is a period of vulnerablity and because it allows the exiting President too much time to do things that would otherwise be too politically controversial (Pardons and last second executive regs.)

In less than a week, we’ll have a president who can address the nation in complete and cogent sentences.

If stupidity in high office was an indictable offense, Bush could be put away for life.

And, in two weeks, if all the problems aren’t solved in America, you’re going to start hearing people blaming Obama for everything.

Part of the “Blame Democrats First” mentality, I guess…

It causes me almost physical pain to say anything that sounds like a defense of GB the Second, but I have to add to LeonardWatson’s response to Anthony2816 about the worst U.S. presidency.

Don’t you remember impotent Jimmy (“Lust in my Heart”) Carter, sneaky Richard (“I am not a Crook”) Nixon, power-lusting Lyndon (“Mah Fellow Uhmuhricans”) Johnson?

Then add my personal favorite historical villains: FDR, Woodrow Wilson, and Andrew Jackson for finding ever more destructive attacks on the American founding concept of a constitutionally limited government dedicated to the defense of individual rights.

Of course, I don’t expect the Lefties here to agree. As for the Righties, don’t be too quick to think I’m one of you either. And as for the Center…feh!

Margueritem, thank you for coming to my defense, it is greatly appreciated, but my hide is thick (some say like my head) enough to shed these slings and arrows that others may cast at me. To jack75287, you may rest assured that I do not hate humankind, only those who would deny the essential rights and freedoms to others that they would claim for themselves. I truly believe that the current administration of this country is of just this sort. My rage and enmity are without bounds when it comes to (what I feel) are the deliberate attempts at the destruction of the very basis for which this country was founded. I encourage everyone to read the Preamble to the Constitution, and learn it by heart, for it clearly states what this nation is about. Without those governing words of our creators, all our laws, all of our beliefs, all that we would do, crumble into nothingness and we become greedy, craven caricatures of ourselves. Rights and freedoms denied to one are denied to all and those who would do so are the enemies of all. Please excuse the length of my comment, but this is something I feel passionate about.

Anyone making a left or right leaning comment has to expect a response. People, and the politicians for that matter, are not open minded enough to see the common ground or what’s good for everyone.

I lean right but I base that on actually considering and contemplating on how I feel about all the major issues. I do lean left on some issues, but overall…rightie. I’d bet a good majority of the people go by what their parents were, their buddy is, or whatever. I’d bet again that people don’t actually assess the issues.
