   Stupid rule, whether in pro or college. Let the players celebrate, that’s what the fans want to see. Nothing is duller than watching a player score, politely hand the ball to the ref, and then trot back to the bench. Let them spike it, wave to the crowd, do the shuffle, or pull a Sharpie out of their sock and autograph the ball before handing it to a fan.

   @ Jack75287: Oh, yeah, it was the left that was in charge from 2000-2006. And that Clinton was a real lefty, wasn’t he? And so was that Congress he had to work with from 1994-2000. And that Reagan sure was a lefty, too!
