    No king of England has been beheaded since Charles I, and that was with an axe. Ann Boleyn was beheaded by order of Henry VIII because of assumed adultery, and Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded by Elizabeth I because she was seen to be a threat to England. There now, end of the lesson. That device is a guillotine, by the way - not used in England, ever. That’s probably supposd to be King Louis or another peer of the realm during the time of the French Revolution. Executioner’s dress looks more mediaeval than 18th century, though. Oh, now I get it, it’s a joke!
