This is going to get much better as the snowmen multiply. It’s one of my favorite Calvin and Hobbes episodes!

It’s the magnifying glass for Moe.

It’s coming back to me now… I believe they are called the snow goons later… or am I thinking of another time in Calvin’s life?

I would think that he would want the ones he hates to melt slowly for a long time.

Wow. Critical Parent Fe (in Jungian terms) in spades: total disengagement from just about everyone he knows. This is one malcontented little ENFP Inspirer we have here. (Now if he were an INFP Idealist, his ability to find weak spots in, immobilize and demoralize others - at least in his own wishful thinking - would dwell on negative thoughts about how events will turn out in the future.)

I can see now that Calvin is slightly less evil than I. I would have made the people I truly despise much larger so I could watch them die slowly.

Calvin never met a kid he didn’t hate.

I didn’t go to college. What are all the psychological initial about? And I forget the difference between Jung and Freud, but then I’m normal and don’t need to know.

Would mom and dad be among the snowmen? I would think that he doesn’t hate his parents that much. But considering what he had for his latest dinner and breakfast, I am not so sure…

I don’t think Calvin would make a Suzie.. every time he mixes Suzi and snow it turns out to be a disaster for him..lol

calvin’s dark side can get really dark – his approach to snowmen is unique, bizarre, imaginative, great.

My Favorite Calvin Snowman was the one with the holes in his back and the icecream scoop and all the other Snowmen were holding snow cones..lol

Hobbes is right thats a lot of people, a lot of hate.

As I said in a previous day’s post, this cartoon is beginning to have an increasingly dark edge to it. On the other hand, so are many of our movies and much of our tv as well. Last days, end times - degradation abounding…sic transit gloria mundi…

In the summertime you can make felted dolls – to felt them you have to jab them repeatedly with a barbed needle – and if you name them first, it is great therapy. Just ask at your nearest yarn store.

If you really hate someone, you would want to ensure that they suffer for as long as possible. Calvin’s got it all wrong making them shorter…
