ChalkieJ: I’m no relation the late, great Carl Barks, but I am a life-long fan of his, starting when I was 8 back in the fifties and only knew that his stories of Uncle Scrooge and the nephews were my very favorite, to meeting a collector in the seventies and learning that Barks was the sole artist of those stories, to the present when I bought a big coffee table book of his works. My real name (as opposed to my screen name) is similar to his, so it seemed natural to adopt his for logging in to a comics website.

It’s a beautiful day for football.

DRY, well, someone named LINDA posted last night.

We went on a artist’s studio tour today (gorgeous day) and found it interesting to see the spaces where artists create. It made me think of all you creative souls here at CD.

Fellow Baby sorry your Cowboys lost, well not! I love Peyton! Since Brett retired, he is now the QB I am following. That was a GREAT GAME!

I have been as stated many times, a Packer fan since age 5, but the great ones at Green Bay are gone, and Aaron is SO FULL OF HIMSELF, and well you know how I feel about PASTY FACE and the coach, so ……. LOL!

And the same with my Cowboys, all the good ones are gone, Landry, Staubach, Meredith, White, Dorsett, etc.

AND I DESPISE JERRY JONES!

Only good thing about fall and winter is the NFL! YES SIR!
