Now the party of total cowardice. It’s as if they ALL have bone spurs.

Republicans could easily get control of their party back by letting the courts take care of the Trump crime family. He’s just a puppet for Putin and Bannon and other assorted vermin.

He’s so malignant, the QOP will need chemo if they hope to recover from him.

The republicans don’t send us their best, they send us their liars, their criminals, their tax cheats and rapists.

Omitting the Watergate incident, we had a reasonable functional, reasonably respectable Republican party until Cheney and Rumsfield hit on the gold mine of incompetence represented by the Busch family and mined it to mess up the country. I didn’t agree with a lot of conservative ideas, but they had some validity and I could buy some of them and understand why some people bought all of them. For the most part they were based on fact, not on Rush Limbaugh and Faux news.I wonder if there are enough Republicans left with the dignity and integrity to form a real conservative party to run against the one that is controlled by a criminal who has no actual commitment to any ideals other than his own benefit.I would welcome a conservative party that could actually compete with the liberals without lying. I don’t totally agree with a lot of liberal ideas- Actually, I am a Democrat by default, since there has never been another choice that research showed wasn’t lying to me. I would be interested in hearing the views of an HONEST conservative party.

Hard to tell if today’s Republican Party is more gutless or spineless?

I refuse to call the Trumpists “republicans”. A republic, by definition, is a nation of laws as opposed to nationhood under some divinely ordained monarch. The Trumpists have made it clear that they believe in putting Diaper Donny above the law. Some are demanding that he be made effectively a dictator. Some even insist that their god has decided that he should be our supreme authority.

Perhaps the GOP of old, such as Dwight Eisenhower, Teddy Roosevelt, Wendel Wilke, Thomas Dewey were truly Republicans. I might even agree that such people as William F. Buckley and Barry Goldwater were republicans. The current crowd of neo-fascists proclaiming their orange messiah our divinely chosen infallible ruler? Not.

The GOP sold its so-called soul to him. They seem to think if they kowtow to him, they will get the votes and money of his rabid followers. They have absolutely no idea what’s coming for them.

And Trump created the GOP in his own image and on the first day he played golf.

Repost — apologies to those who’ve already read it. Always remember that there are 147 (maybe about 145 now?) Trumpublicans in our legislature who voted to not accept Biden’s win. They are either stupid, bat-poop crazy, cynical opportunists, or some combination of the three. They are not qualified to run a popsicle stand, much less the USA. Remember, and VOTE BLUE at every opportunity!
