Nope. That’s definitely happy. The other signs are not that hard to read.

Could be anything with that one. Sometimes he doesn’t know either.

Gary Larson did a Far Side ’toon about “How to recognize the moods of an Irish Setter.” Happy, depressed, angry, pensive, excited, suicidal … all identical expressions.

Each one of my 4 rescue dogs have multiple identifiable expressions. That being said, I often have no idea what their mood is. One dog, if their tail isn’t waging when up and moving, means they are not feeling well. It seems her tail is a separate life form sometimes.

Dogs are usually always happy, until they don’t feel well. But Kenny is an exception.

They are not hard to figure out. They either want to go outside, be fed, play ball, be fed, take a nap, be fed…

You forgot “Get a treat.”

Kenny is simply a happy pup by nature.

He looks like a Husky :)
