Three airplane facts One time there were five damaged window panes and three that were missing.

Bean Sates One time I was 16,001 feet tall. My phone couldn’t even survive falling from my pocket to the ground without breaking the screen.

Heremy Jart Hick Nart One time I was 31 seconds old.

May the Lord be with you as He is with me.

Rushing up to the Southwest Airlines ticket counter…

a man gasped, “Ma’am, please help me. I have to get to Los Angeles in the worst way!”

The clerk calmly pointed to her right and said, “Sir, that would be Frontier.”

It’s refreshing that the Hart brothers weren’t given twins-y names.

Not a lot of intermediate stops on the London to Miami route (or anywhere else in Florida).

Who really needs doors and windows on planes anyway?

Once something that is falling reaches terminal velocity, it will not fall any faster no matter how high you go. But then, it is not the falling that does the damage, it is the handing.

I’m trying to figure where between London and Florida a plane could make an emergency landing. It seems to me there isn’t much between the two except the Atlantic ocean

This isn’t just a quirky comic section fun fact. This is a serious ongoing problem with the airline infrastructure. Transportation is in shambles

“Noticed” missing windows? How far into the flight before they “noticed”? And would they share their recreational meds, please?

    > A plane that took off from London Stansted Airport in the U.K. was forced to turn around after only half an hour in the air after a crew member noticed one of the cabin windows was damaged.

    > When the plane landed back at Stansted, the crew found that two of the plane’s window panes were completely missing and two others were dislodged, according to an incident report published late last week by the U.K.’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch.

    > A day before the flight, the aircraft had been used as a film set.

I’m surprised that they never mentioned the British Airways Flight 5390 incident where the pilot was nearly sucked out of one of the cockpit windscreens by explosive decompression but was held on by a crewmember until the plane made an emergency landing. The pilot amazingly survived even though he was exposed to below freezing temperature and little oxygen at the time of the accident with only non-lifethreatening injuries.

I can imagine the twins landing at the same time, one on the left runway, the other on the right. Would that have been allowed? Would it have been easy to synchronize?
