We don’t actually see who’s doing the cooking. This could very well be Lyman off-panel.

The final panel reminds of that inane and incredibly dangerous “social media challenge” of eating a spoonful of cinnamon.

I like cinnamon. Count me in.

Kind of looks like a cookie mountain, except it is crushed.

My kettle just blew its fuse this morning. Almost no coffee this morning. I changed the fuse and it’s working now. But, for how long? I now know the true meaning of fear…….

Same here, Jon. Same here. (I always—and inadvertently—pour out more cinnamon than needed for the recipe.)

That’s a tad too much cinnamon.

I love cinnamon, but, not in those quantities…

When it comes to cooking, he just can’t take a hint.

That reminds me, it’s egg nog season!

What the heck are they making, or does it matter?

As a high school culinary arts teacher, we had a student who didn’t check the recipe carefully for pumpkin pie. Instead of a teaspoon, he added a cup of cinnamon. That became his nickname. (He was cool with it)

I hope Jon isn’t making public pumpkin pie this year.
