Maybe not a tip but a donation to a charity so that it makes the business look better. Not to mention new fees that are added to many bills now.

When I get to the front I ask if they want my business, if so check me out otherwise I walk out and leave the cart setting there full

    Wottsa big deal?

There are thousands of people that send a lot of their money to a guy who personally owns a 757.

    .

Which one is stupider, someone who gives a small tip to a self checkout, or someone who gives a lot of money to someone who claims to be a billionaire?

    Pretty tough call.

There are instances when it would be worth the tip, not to talk to a check out clerk.

Yeah, we really are going in entirely the wrong direction with tipping.

Googled self checkout tipping…it’s an actual thing. This has become a new accepted business practice to underpay workers and subsidize management .

No, no, no! That’s called a “service charge”. There is a big difference.

Tipping is optional. You WILL pay the “service charge”.

I keep seeing references to this. If this really a thing, or are a lot of people jumping on the same satire?
