This guy doesn’t get paid enough to handle Cathy’s neurosis and insecurity. Poor guy…4 more months until white pants season? That’s July. 10 more months until swimsuit season? That’s next February! No wonder she’s a mess when she can’t even get her calendar straight. And it’s not until 2004 that Irving proposes and 2005 that they get married, so she’s a bit closer with that idea. Good morning, legaleagle48, Aaron and Susan!Hello to GsMom, Billy, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, soonergal, lippyfish and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!(KFG, are you coming back ever?)

It’s people like Cathy that makes people want to pull all their hair out of their heads . . . which would explain why this poor guy is so bald on top! What I can’t figure out is why he keeps her for a client. To me, if I were an accountant, the money just wouldn’t be worth all the aggravation!

Aaron: Yes, I’ve been using the Pibgorn Tribute Site’s guide to text sizing based on the <h1, 2, 3, 4> method given but it doesn’t say anything regarding ending it with a /h1, 2, 3, or 4 to close it. According to my interpretation of their chart, the < > (text) < > (with the h followed by a number in-between the brackets) indicates where you’d like the different size text to begin and end but it doesn’t work out that way for me. I’m okay if I make the words I want to change last in my comment with nothing else after them, but if the different-sized words are anywhere else and I want to say something else afterwards in normal type, then nothing goes back to normal size for me (until I end that comment and then do a new one). I’ll have to experiment with your /h1, etc. suggestions to see if I can finally get it to work the way I want it to. You’ll know for sure if I do! :-)

Good afternoon to you, Dr. Billy, lightenup, K.F.G., Susan, rgcviper, gmforde, hendelca, lindz.coop, summerdog, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, Gator007, legaleagle48 and all the rest of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here today. Good to “see” you all!

Aaron: Well, I tried 8 different experiments trying to change my text sizing from

larger back to smaller again and I think I FINALLY figured out the correct way to do it thanks to you!!!!!

Hi Mom! I think the spacing is outside of our control with the H1 thru H5 tags. I haven’t messed around with HTML in a while so I don’t know for sure. I’ve got a book on HTML 4 that I can peruse. Generally I use one tag only when I try to be creative here. Anyway, it does seem that you now have a handle on it. You’re right that the /H1 etc isn’t documented on Pigborn. I know about it just because it’s standard HTML convention.

Aaron: Uh, oh! Well, now, that’s just not right at all! Now that I’ve got the larger-back-to-smaller-again type figured out . . . how do I get everything to stay on the same line with each other and not do this?!!! Or can it even be done? It’s all so confusing it just makes my head hurt!!!!! :-(

Sorry to be such a pain! It’s just like trying to explain things to a little kid, isn’t it?! I’m afraid I’m just about HOPELESS when it comes to . . . well, pretty much anything having to do with computers beyond just the absolute bare-bones basics! Any help though is most assuredly always appreciated!!!!! :-)

Now Mom, give youself more credit than that! You are not a pain nor are you hopeless. < h1 > text then < /h1 > Same for h2 thru h5. Easy peasy. :-D And you already proved you have more than a basic understanding.

Love you Mom!. Tiime to get ready for work.

BTW, y’all probably already know that my < h1 > (with the spaces) is for illustration. No spaces in HTML tags.

The H in H1 stands for Heading 1. Think of it as a title for a document. H2 or H3, etc are then subtitles for sections. We here at GoComics obviously use formatting beyond its original intent. ;-)

Cathy if you tried hard enough, you could find one in 24 hours. You shouldn’t trust him/her, but that might be the least of your worries.

LMB and I are off to have a ______ game at GU. lightenup can you make it 2 for 2? :-D

Nice try, Cathy, but no cigar.

I’m a day behind on my comments but wanted to make sure to catch up here.

@lightenup: I left you a response last night.

Hello, everyone. Nice to hear from you all as always.

Hi Cathyites!! Like rgcviper I’m a day behind on my comments. The plot thickens — how will Cathy find an accountant on such short notice? If she did them herself, she could incorporate all those things she is asking for — of course, she might get audited, but that won’t be a problem for our girl Cathy!!! (My eyes are rolling too).
