Let’s see, the chic new designer handle bag probably costs a weeks worth of groceries (using the former comparisons of blouse/car payment). The cashmere sweater is another week at least, maybe two. Sales lady is about as insane as anyone I’ve ever seen.
Cathy is in the zone, which isn’t good. It wouldn’t help to bring Mom along to the mall to stop her weird spending because mom is where Cathy gets her looney tunes genes (no, not jeans … that’s another story). I guess I have to feel for Cathy. She doesn’t stand a chance. Sigh.
I never got the handbag thing. Why have a bag you need to hold in your hand when you can have one hanging off your shoulder and have both your hands free?
