I just saw the Netflix documentary on Bernie Madoff. Duke sounds a lot like him here. “Fear of missing out” was a prime method to hook in new investors.

Henry John Deutschendorf Jr., was beloved and remains so still by many lovers of heartfelt music. What a voice!

FYI — his fatal plane crash was caused by an unfamiliar, behind the pilot’s seat, fuel tank switching device. It was a beauty of a plane…and he was clean and sober.

Ha! Re: my user name. It just bubbled up through these feeble remaining grey cells that the only time I ever played banjo in public (in 1978) was on the song “Country Roads,” which we were sort of coerced into learning.
