    Good morning™, everyone!

I think he made the right choice for his child. I don’t really want to see him putting on the costume once again.

I’m undecided if he will play a role in the next arc. For now, I think this is a good place to just insert an update, rather than interrupting some other action when it’s heating up.

Good morning™, retired underground crime fighters !

Her belly is only beginning to swell. I’d say we got at least a good couple years of reading before that junior swizzle cinnamon stick emerges. It would be poetic justice if Rikki Mortis’s is stillborn, kinda fits nice with her career as a life stiller of others.

we shall see how long the Cinnamon Knight stays retired, David, before something comes up that forces you to don the outfit again…

Dick Tracy didn’t uncover Mr. Memory. Mike Curtis did. Maybe Paprika Paladin should be a comics writer instead of a cop.

I would like to think that all the further exposition would lead to a storyline with both B.O. and the Cinnamon Knight as a rookie.

The Knight is leaving his “civilian” job in a bank to become a rookie police officer, just to show his future child how important it is to serve and protect? Couldn’t he do that by being a responsible private citizen, who has a good job, with a good pay, and, benefits, at a bank? (And, that job pays more than likely a rookie cops does.)

The pregnant lady is concealed behind a desk.Otherwise the Hayes Office will raise a stink.

Might want to check out the 1955-56 era for Lizz’s training and some “rookie class” strips that ran just before the Oodles arc got started. This kind of detail will be a little new for Curtis.

Forgot all about Blackjack still being on the loose. He’s probably rescuing people tied to logs in the sawmill.

1-CINNAMON WIFE: So, you’re packing away the only shirt either of us owns that isn’t a muscle tee? CINNAMON KNIGHT: Yeah…

2-…Why hide our pecs when we’ve worked so hard developing them – you more than me apparently…

3-…I just hope I can convince the Police Department to incorporate a muscle tee into the uniform choices. Or at least let me rip the sleeves off the traditional uniform.

CINNAMON WIFE: If not, how about I just paint a uniform shirt on you every day?

CINNAMON KNIGHT: BRILLIANT! And if that works, we’ll try painted uniform pants. I’ve worked hard on my glutes too ya know.

CINNAMON WIFE: Do I ever! SMACK

COSTUMED CRIMEFIGHTERS ACADEMY – New York, London, Fresno Lesson #78: Retirement, This is a rarely spoken of matter, because given the longevity of the crimefighter and his/her quarry, it’s a rare thing for someone in our line of work to actually “hang it up,” as it were. There are a few who have done so (Refer to Namor, Class of ‘39), but as our graduates know, even death doesn’t stop some people’s careers. Our subject, having established himself in a town with one already long-established crimefighter, has not had what you might call a very successful career in that field. With a family now being built, he has decided on the less glamorous (though hardly less risky) option of regular police work. However, the fact that he hasn’t completely trashed the attire of his persona suggests the persona still has a hold on his character, and suggests it may be re-assumed again should a need be seen. It will be interesting to see if he brings his skills from aspiring superhero-dom into established police procedure and whether this will be a help — or a hindrance — to the department.

Night-Gaunt49[Bozo is Boffo]  almost 2 years ago

In the mean streets of Klingsor in Nuevo Germania (Asunción in Paraguay in our world) Night-Gaunt does battle with very dangerous crooks and the cops too. A futuristic noir world. High tech and high violence that differs from our world in 1870 when a large influx of armed Germans and their families took over a defeated country.

Night-Gaunt is really nanoengineer Lilith Phoenix-Geiger who lost her parents to the military starts her on the bloody trail of justice.

We have stumbled through a cinnamon portal into the Metaverse, where David says the Existential phrase, costumed crimefighting [belongs in] the comics—which is precisely where he and Stephanie (who appears primed to nurse their child cough) are!

But I suspect that the Cinnamon Knight will rise again and that David will don the outfit when some situation seems unresolvable through conventional police work….
