Yeah; I learned a long time ago that water (and, by extension, anything containing water like soft drinks) won’t necessarily put out a fuse. When I was in my teens, a friend and I had once lit firecrackers (individually, not a string of them) and dropped them into a lake from the shore. It was interesting to see them blow up silently underwater with just a flash and no noise.

I’ll admit, I didn’t see that coming. Football would be a lot better with surprise explosions. Bea, you have shown me a better way. Now NFL needs to pick it up. . .
