I just tried to leave a post which contained no objectionable or threatening words, and it wouldn’t let me.

Gorrell, Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham and many more extreme rightwingers are working very hard to dive Biden’s numbers down, even if they have to lie to do it.

For the life of me, I don’t understand some of these regular posters. As the comic shows, Biden IS running on empty. His policies have created the highest gas prices, highest grocery bills, highest crime in democrat cities, and highest number of illegal immigrants across our southern border. The stock market is tanking, Biden has no clue what to do, and all these posters want to talk about is a former POTUS that has been out of office for a year and a half. You own this mess libs, and “you will pay the price” as Shumer likes to say.

It appears to be affecting everyone on every comic/cartoon. And it appears to have started yesterday (Monday, June 13, 2022).

It’s not a list. It’s anything where the letter “u” appears immediately after the letter “c”. One might guess that there’s one specific word that they wanted to block, but they oversimplified the process.

Meanwhile, it seems that blocking that specific letter combination is only one of a group of changes that they activated yesterday. E.g.,

1) I’ve had comments fail to post in the past, but never before has there been a message telling me that they were doing so.

2) A number of commenters have noticed that every comment seems to stop for a few seconds before actually posting. Me, too. So it seems that they have just added system to do a more thorough — and thus more time-consuming — inspection of each and every comment before allowing (or not allowing) it to post.

I hope that those responsible are giving serious attention to the complaints from readers here and will immediately fix this nonsense, even if only by backing out to the previous behavior.
