If you’re going to game, make sure you win.

I learned to ride on an elderly quarter horse named Toby. He looked like Don Quixote’s horse Rosinante, acted the clown as much as Lucy, but never dropped me. When it came time for me to learn how to jump, the young lady who was training me set the bar even lower than above — literally knee high. Toby came trotting up and, of course, cleared the bar with no effort.

He then commenced gloating about his achievement like he had cleared an eight-footer. And yes, it is easy to tell when a horse is gloating.

“It’s how you game the system”. They say the 2020 election was rigged, Trump won. So now the repubs are changing voting rules to game the system so they can win in 2022 and beyond. Sadly, the way things are going I think they can win without cheating.

Danae would be better suited to a quarter horse, rather than a jumper.

Took a beat for Danae to realize that requiring Lucy to stick to rules is against her own standards. Then she justified the outcome as normal for her.

Money laundering or sports is a distinction without a difference. Especially with sports betting now legal.

Horrible businessman is not how you should describe someone who went to the bestest business school in the world. And his children all went there as well.

I’m guessing she’s not going to be genuinely creative and start a “horse limbo” competition.

Right after Powerball started, I knew a guy who won 4 million and change. Shortly after, one night he and his wife moved to Colorado and didn’t leave a forwarding address. Hounded to death by relatives wanting some of it.

Morgan Freeman told a horse story on Letterman a long time ago. His reins broke and the horse took off running for home. Came to a fence or closed gate, let’s just say, Morgan went over first. Then the horse jumped it and ran home without him. LOL. It’s hard to get mad, ensuring the tack is in good order is the human’s responsibility, not the horse. Of course, jumping it, after unseating the ride, just adds insult to injury.
