Scientist 1: It's a time machine we hope will take us back 50 years when we should have put a price on carbon. Scientist 2: We better hurry! Scientist 1: No! That's the great thing about this technology! Year 2060: The search for a breakthrough technology to solve climate change continues.

You’re right human, which is why we need to build a bunch of nuclear power plants and use the clean electricity they provide. Well, as a first step anyway.

Of course, the only answer to the climate change issue is to impose crushing increases on Americans who can least afford it.
Actually, that is only the politicians’ answer to it. This approach to solving our dependence on oil is insisted upon not because it will solve the problem but because it will help feed Washington’s runaway spending habits.
I don’t advocate ignoring the issue because I believe we should use our resources wisely and not be so dependent on any one source, especially one that can run out. We have the ability to find an alternative fuel that is readily available and doesn’t require a massive and expensive upgrade in appliances, vehicles, and equipment. After all we are not using anything right now that hasn’t been on the Earth all along.
Significantly increasing the financial burden on American families that are already struggling as it is in order to benefit Washington is NOT the answer. However, that is the legislation that is on the table, pure and simple.

Isn’t this yesterday’s cartoon? I little glitch in the time machine?

^ Nope, yesterday’s was in color, this one is monochrome. It’s fading with time. Like our planet.
